E‑Bike Awareness in Harrisville

The Harrisville City Police Department is asking for the community’s help as e‑bike use continues to grow especially among youth.

E‑bikes are a fun way to get around, but we are seeing unintentional damage to parks, grass, and shared public areas, along with safety concerns for pedestrians. Many riders may not realize how speed or off path riding can affect places everyone enjoys.

Parents and guardians: your supervision and conversations with your children truly make a difference. Talking about where e‑bikes should be ridden, appropriate speeds, and being respectful of others helps protect our parks and common areas.

📘 Learn more about Utah e‑bike laws:
Utah State Code 41‑6a‑1115.5 — Electric assisted bicycles — Restrictions — Penalties outlines rules related to e‑bike operation, supervision, and rider responsibility.

Thank you for helping keep Harrisville safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone. 💙
