The Harrisville Police Department is honored to announce that we have earned law enforcement accreditation through the Utah Chiefs of Police Association (UCOPA).
Accreditation is a voluntary and rigorous process that evaluates a department’s policies, training, and operations to ensure they align with established best practices in modern policing. It reflects a commitment to professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
We are proud to share that Harrisville is one of only 30 agencies in Utah to achieve this accreditation and the second agency in Weber County to reach this milestone. For a smaller department like ours, this accomplishment is especially meaningful.
