The Harrisville Police Department is dedicated to working with our community and affiliated partners such as Your Community Connection (YCC) and the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition (UDVC) to educate and help end the cycle of domestic violence abuse that is all too common in our communities.

Utah Valley University (UVU) is a long-standing supporter of the UDVC and has provided a great deal of support and training for law enforcement and social service workers over the years. Recently they participated in the Clothesline Project which discusses and provides real world research, statistics and solutions in regards to Domestic Violence. As part of that project, UVU put together a series of videos that are designed to educate and create an understanding of our Domestic Violence Abuse problem and some steps individuals can take to recognize the warning signs of Domestic Violence Abuse as well as how they can get help. We strongly urge anyone who is interested in getting more information to click on the links below and watch the videos. You don’t have to deal with this alone. There is help.
