Members of the Tri‑City Active Shooter Task Force, including Northview Fire Department and the Harrisville, North Ogden, and Pleasant View Police Departments, recently conducted a joint, collaborative training focused on preparing for high risk, critical incidents.
This training brought fire and law enforcement personnel together through a combination of classroom instruction and hands‑on practical exercises, addressing complex scenarios such as active shooter events and high‑casualty incidents. Participants trained side‑by‑side to strengthen communication, coordination, and unified response efforts.
When agencies train together as equals, the entire response system becomes stronger. This level of coordination improves response times, enhances on scene safety, and ensures a more effective and organized response during emergencies. Most importantly, it directly benefits the community by providing a seamless, well coordinated approach when seconds matter.
Joint training through the Tri‑City Active Shooter Task Force ensures that all participating agencies are prepared to operate as one team focused on protecting lives, supporting one another, and serving the community with professionalism and dedication.
Thank you to all the first responders involved for their continued commitment to teamwork and community safety. 🚒🚓🤝
